Airlift has recently developed an EASA STC for the installation of geophysical equipment for the Eurocopter AS350 series, for airborne geophysical exploration and geological mapping.
Our Design Office is now able to offer different solutions for geophysical survey layouts, including gamma ray spectrometer and electromagnetic or magnetic sensors.
The solutions can easily be adapted to other helicopter types and combined with other sensor installations to satisfy the requirements of each individual client.
The modifications we offer are developed according to Eurocopter design and maintenance standards (e.g. documentation standards, material used, standard practices used during installation, continuing airworthiness inspection and maintenance schedule). This guarantees smooth installation, operation and maintenance of the system for personnel already familiar with Eurocopter products.
